Schloss Linderhoff was mad King Ludwig III's summer castle. Seriously- a summer castle? It was beautiful!
Here we are looking down at the home from the top of the garden area. See that black dot above the castle? That's where we'll be standing in the next picture.
See the gazebo at the top? That's where we were at the last picture! This castle was lovely and the scenery incredible, but it really struck JC as a lonely place. To be surrounded with such beauty and no one to share it with except servants is to really be lonely.
