I LOVE to cook,and we've made it a tradition that I make a big dinner every Christmas. This year I made prime rib with a roasted shallot and port sauce, (I wanted to take a bath in it, it was so good!!) bacon potato cake with Gruyere cheese (might as well be called heart-attack in a dish!), and a salad with red-wine vinegar, shallot dressing. We also had wine that Stephen had brought back from Morocco! After dinner we played Ticket to Ride. For desert we had molten chocolate cakes. It was delicious and such fun to be together. The only drawback is that Jordan had to work and didn't make it home 'til desert.
