Attention IF Girls!

I just finished the first chapter of The Reed of God and you came to mind as I read.  This is not what I would have expected from a book about the Blessed Mother.  This is about US!  Well, it's about everyone who ever feels empty or experiences a  time of waiting, which is essentially everyone!  It speaks to how we are CALLED to empty ourselves to know our true purpose and so that we can be filled with God.  I'm describing this very directly, but Houselander uses beautiful prose and speaks right to the heart of the manner of this "virginal quality" that she calls "emptiness is the beginning of this contemplation." 

I know you're busy.  I know you have a lot going on.  But I would love to invite you again to join our study and keep up with what you can.  It's an average of ten pages a week, and there isn't a test!
