Walkin' the Boards

In the evening, we hit the boards.  Our first stop?  Ice cream!  As we sat to eat it, fun music like "Twist and Shout" blared from the miniature golf place.  Mom nudged me, and when I looked at Grandad, he was dancing!  I've never seen him have fun like that!  I will treasure that memory!

Who can resist a picture with Mr. Peanut and Elvis?!

We LOVE a good cheese-steak and birch beer!  You can only get those up
North!

Grandad thought it'd be fun to throw a piece of bread to a lone seagull.  Well he wasn't a lone seagull for long!  We laughed and laughed at those crazy things!  Check out the picture on the right- he caught it!

We're a flip-flop family!

I LOVE your grandpa's expression in all of the pics... HELP! Someone save me from my daughter and granddaughter! Ha! I am so glad you and your mom got to spend such a good chunk of time DOING things with him this trip. It's such a blessing for all 3 of you. Get out of your funk (that's an order, roomie!) and call me in the morning. I'm married to a doctor, so I should be able to write you that very valid prescription for curing funks (or others for cleaning potato-nasty pantries...).
