When I first married my husband, I was shocked to discover how much laundry there was! Not only were his close so much bigger than mine, but he changed a couple times a day- due to working out or changing out of his work clothes. I remember making a conscience decision to rejoice for having laundry to do, and to thank the Lord for the man who wore the clothes I was cleaning and folding.
Now I have pink lint in my dryer daily. Look at it! It's actually pink!!
Thank you Jesus for my daily dose of pink lint!!

Congrats mama! Isn't it wonderful? Now we'll see how terrific you think it is in 14 more years! HA!
Oh wow! Pink lint is beautiful! Danya, I say it's gonna take less then 14 years....At least for me anyway! Give it two weeks! ;)
This makes me smile!
I almost wrote a post about that exact same thing after we got Clara!! Seeing the pink lint brought me such joy and it was so symbolic! I'm so happy for you!!
I cannot tell you how much I love this post! Thank you for making me appreciate our pink lint a little bit more. :)
Yaaay! I love the smell of warm fresh baby clothes.
We went from no children to 3 in 3 years after 4 years of IF. I told my husband how it makes me smile to look out in the yard and see all the kids' clothes drying on the line. It's just such a physically vivid reminder of the blessings our Lord has bestowed on our family.
Agree, it is truly amazing how the cuteness of the clothes totally makes up for the great increase in laundry which little people bring.
LOVE IT! It is these little things that make our hearts leap for joy! :)
I still to this day LOVE folding L's little clothes. I never noticed the dryer lint, though! Beautiful observation!
wow! Such a wonderful reflection! I would also love to fold babies clothes! this made my smile !!!
This is so sweet! I love it!
Praise God for pink lint!!! Yippee!!!!
I can not even begin to tell you how incredibly fantastic this post is! It took me over 2 years to get pregnant with my son and now he is going to be 2 in 2 weeks! This post brought back such a huge rush of feelings that I forgot I once had. That endless need I had to be a mother and the overwhelming joy when I 1st laid eyes on his gorgeous face. Revel in these wonderful moments and continue to cherish your pink lint! One of those beautiful treasures that "fertiles" may never understand :)

So sweet! I can't imagine! Soak it up!
hee hee...very cute!! there is nothing quite like pulling those teeny tiny socks out of the dryer. i love it.
This is one of the sweetest posts I have ever read. I enjoy your blog very much! +JMJ+
I can def relate to the laundry my husband adds to the mix for all the same reasons. What a beautiful way to look at things in that situation and your new one! Beautiful!
Love this!!!! Although.. I have to say I'm a little scared about the sheer amount of BLUE lint we are going to have ;)
Nowadays, in the midst of increasing secularisation, we are called to give testimony to the values of life. I think that you and your husband are proving that adoption is a loving option. I wish you the best. Thanks for your testimony!
Adorable!
Well, if we can't get pictures of her at least we can get pictures of her lint! ;)
Just wait til you add diapers to the mix! They are still sweet and precious, but they don't smell nearly as good. (at least I don't want to bury my nose in a diaper, no matter *how* clean it supposedly is :)
what a beautiful perfect sight that is to see that pink lint!!
