1) He takes his duty to protect and defend his family very seriously- and philosophically! He is thinking it through and considers the moral implications of all options. I feel so safe with him!!!
2) He is a deep thinker and stays very current with the political and economic situation. He makes it practical and relevant for our family. I love to pick his brain about current events and love that I can trust his instincts.
4) He's been flexible with our parenting philosophies and has trusted my instincts. We've had a few situations (already!) where we had different opinions, and though I ultimately let him make the decision, he chose what I wanted! He trusts and respects me that much!
5) He is learning how to pack the diaper bag, changes cloth diapers (prefolds, no less!), gets up at 4am to make an unexpected bottle, and carefully combs our daughter's curls post-bath. He's a trooper!
I'm limiting myself to five and look forward to bragging some more in the future!
Honey, I love you with all my heart!!! Abigail loves you, too!!!
All my love,

Lauren, from what I know of your amazing husband, and from what you wrote here, you have struck gold! He is a RARE find, and I am so glad you found each other, and I am so thrilled for both his "girls" that you have a real man!!!
One of the best benefits of having a child! You get to find new (and old) ways to love one another more deeply and to grow a deeper appreciation for one another. This is deepened and strengthened with each new little blessing God brings. :) I love this.
They're all great-but #4 really got me. What a guy!
Wonderful list! Isn't it amazing to watch them falli in love and take care of their little ones.
I am so impressed!
