Returning to my roots!

So I mentioned my parents were stationed in Germany. They were actually in Zweibrucken, and I've heard about it my whole life! I HAD to go visit it while I was here! This is the lot where they lived, but not the house. They've since torn the house down and put up a new one.

My biggest disappointment was that we couldn't find the Rathaus (courthouse) where my folks got married. (In Germany you have to get married in the Rathaus before you can get married in the Church.) I kept asking people and felt like we were really close, but couldn't find it. It was late and we had to go. Maybe next time! It was so neat to be where my parents went on first dates and walked the streets! I was almost born here! :)
