Perhaps the bleakness and suffering in the world today would be less or we would, had the fifty million souls aborted been given the chance to live.
Lord, help us to cultivate a culture of life- a culture which reaches out to women in trouble and respects the sanctity of marriage. Father, bless and comfort the women who have bought the lie that death will solve problems and ease pain. We look forward to the day when we will enter your Heavenly Kingdom and meet all the little ones who might have been our best friend, our teachers, our priests, our neighbors, our mentors- and the children they might have had. Amen.
