I ordered the new Ignatius Catholic Study Bible! It has been in the works for years. Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch have been developing this rich resource book by book as Scripture studies. Now the New Testament is complete and available as one beautifully bound volume. I ordered the leather cover for $34 from Ignatius Press, but you can also order it as a hard or soft cover, or the electronic version. The leather is beautiful and has a linen page on the inside cover. It has two ribbons for place-keeping. It includes commentary (about half the page), maps, essays, and a concordance in the back!!! It is extremely well done and I am so happy to have it!

ooooo YES! I actually worked out of the "Act" booklet that they had before this Bible in the entirety (well, NT) came. I can't wait to get it!!!
It's on my wish list!!!! I just sent one to a friend who is a lapsed Catholic but asked me for a Bible recommendation.

I was actually going to do a blog post about this beause I have zippo bible knowledge and this is so easy for me to get through....I've learned so much just by reading the introductory.
