Pictures!

A surprise!  I NEVER expected to see these, but our social worker surprised us with them today!  They're from a couple of months ago- July 2- and to be honest, I really can't see her face in the face shot!  (I feel like Rachel in "Friends"!)  No real update otherwise.  Everything looks/sounds good.

Praying for grace!!

Lauren,
so precious!! Bella's birthmother also shared her 12 week ultrasound pictures with us (after the adoption placement). I marvel at them every time I see them because I always wanted to have ultrasound pictures of my baby, but never thought it would happen.
Also, I just posted 2 new chapters on my blog of Isabella'a adoption story.
In Christ,
Julie

What heavenly pictures. I always feel like I'm peeking into a totally different world when I see ultrasound pictures. They're the most amazing things. Wonderful, wonderful.

OK, so right under that big "bubble" in the top middle (a cross-section of umbilical cord) you can see the nose and to the left of that the lips. To the right one eye socket is hidden in amniotic fluid (black) and the other is just below that.
See it now? :)

She is adorable!!

Oh MY GOODNESS! I've been in the hospital with my newborn and just read this great news tonight.

I'll be praying, praying and praying for you. (And offering up lots of sleepless nights from my newborn daughter in hopes that you'll soon get this same slice of joyful penance too!)

THANKS everyone!!!

My husband and I had a LONG drive last night, and I decided to check my email on his iphone. I loved all the responses. I was SOOOOO excited to get TCIE's instruction and then I LOLed at my Mom's "I see her! I see her!"

So I stared and stared at the picture, consulted TCIE's instructions some more, and stared and stared. FINALLY my eyes relaxed and I SAW HER!!! (It's like a hidden picture or something!)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! What a gift to be able to see her!!!!

NOw I can't see her in the profile shot. Any suggestions there?

I immediately began to cry and was so happy to see her. I called my Mom to discuss how cute she is, and...well...it turns out that my Mom did NOT see her. She saw the bubble as her right eye, her shoulder as her nose and that line below as her mouth. Oh my. Scary child. We laughed so hard we cried. It was a really fun moment.

So thank you thank you thank you, TCIE!!!!!!

Yaaay! Doing a happy dance for you!
I tried to call you yesterday from the car...I put 120 miles on the dang van yesterday and I never left the general area. Had to truck back and forth to Eglin, to Hurlburt, to Joe's therapy and back to FWB to pick up the girls' from piano lessons.

I was totally having a "Rachel" moment when I saw the first picture. I think I found the eye sockets, nose and forehead though. What an exciting surprise!
