I adore Thee,
I trust in Thee,
I love Thee.
I ask pardon for all those who do not believe in Thee,
do not adore Thee,
do not trust in Thee,
and do not love Thee."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the prayer that the Angel taught the children of Fatima in the spring of 1916 to prepare them for the Blessed Mother's appearance. Such a simple prayer that is so profound to me. I remember the four verbs (believe, adore, trust and love) by the word "batl", pronounced battle. It is another simple reminder to me that we are in the middle of a Battle for souls- and the stakes are eternal. I hope this prayer blesses you as it has me!
Thanks for sharing! I don't know as much about Fatima as I would like to. Thanks for passing it on!
For years I have said the 1st half of this prayer. I wonder if at some point in my life I knew there was a 2nd half?? Thanks for sharing it!
