This weekend I...

1) Visited our brother and sister in law and baby John-Paul!

2) Went on a dinner cruise to celebrate my father-in-law's 75th birthday!  Happy birthday, Dad!

 3) Witnessed the Baptism of our newest God-son!  

 4) Randomly met another blogger!  Our babies had fun pulling the water bottles out of the ice! I was struck by the small world that is the blogging community and the strength and power of prayer as she told me how she vividly remembers praying for me when we lost Caeden Michael.  It brought tears to my eyes!  What a blessing to meet a new friend!

 5) WON A BUBBLE AWARD!!!!!!  Lisa left me a voice-mail notifying me and I was SO excited!  Ridiculously excited.  :)  I've ALWAYS wanted to win, but BOY are there some SMART people out there!  :)

6) Was accused of stealing a banana!  OK- that wasn't actually this past weekend, but it's too funny not to share.  At the grocery store last week, I gave Abigail a banana while we were shopping.   But when we were standing in line, a man two carts ahead kept looking at me.  Finally he said, "Excuse me, ma'am.  How do you intend to pay for that banana?"  Ummm...WHAT?

So I told him, "I'm going to pay for another banana twice....???"

"Oh.  That's a good idea."  Then he turned to the woman whose cart was between us and said, "I caught someone stealing water last week.  Stuck the manager on them."

I've been working on seeing Christ in ALL people and had a bit of a hard time with this man until I realized, 'HE LOVES JUSTICE!!!"  Sheesh!


7) Wrote several blog posts in my head! Y'all have been so patient with me this summer!  My blog has not been what I want it to be.  This has been the busiest summer on record with lots of traveling and guests.  Praise God!!!  Things will calm down again in a couple of weeks and I've got some interesting blog posts up my sleeve!  Thanks for your patience!!
