Adoption Step 2: DONE!

Today we mailed in our complete adoption application!!! YEA!!!! It felt significant because it included a 25% down payment! I called around and found an agency to do our home study. I REALLY like the girl (at least over the phone!) who we'll be dealing with. She sent us the initial paperwork and will bring us the rest on Tuesday. YEA!!! After years of stumbling blocks and closed doors, it feels like we're finally making progress! I feel my Heavenly Father whispering in my heart, "I've got your family in my plans and in my time. I'm setting this up so that you will be available when YOUR child is ready." Sigh of happiness.

I made a cake to celebrate! From scratch! :)
