Home, Sweet Home!

We've made it! And we're back on-line so I'm able to blog and post pics! THIS IS OUR HOUSE!!!! Can you believe it?!? It's AMAZING! I love it so much. There are four units to each house and we're in the bottom right. We have TWO screened in porches! (I cut off the one on the right side of the house. Oops!)
Here's a close up of our part. We're on the bottom floor. You can see the right porch here. Maggie's on the front porch. She's waving "Hi", I'm sure... :)
There are seven of these houses making half of a circle. There are three more of these type and then a different style house on the other side of the circle. In between us is a lovely park! I LOVE all the trees! There are swings, slides, other playground equipment, benches, picnic tables and grills! So conducive to community! I love it!
Here's the back of our house. Now we're on the left in the middle. There's a basement dug in for the garage and laundry.

Here's the view from the front door! LOVE the hardwood floors!!!!!
Here's on the opposite side looking at the front door.
Standing in the same spot, but turned to the right and looking in the dining room. Check out the built in china cabinets! I love the way my blue and white Spode dishes look in there.
This is the front porch. Maggie LOVES it out here!!! The big plant is her favorite. She likes to "wrestle" with it. :)
We come out here first thing every morning with our coffee and Bibles and have our quiet time. It's so peaceful! At 8:00 they play the National anthem and if I look through the patch of trees, I can see the flag being raised!
Here's our bedroom! On the left you see the door to the 2nd screened in porch.
The two bedrooms on the East side of the house have a Jack&Jill style bath. Here's the view from our side- looking towards the guest bedroom.
And here's the opposite!
Here's the guest bedroom! I hope to have lots of guests here!!! :)
Here's the third bedroom which we use as the study. Get this- it used to be the "maid's quarters"! It teeny tiny and has it's own bath. It's off the kitchen and has easy access to the laundry. This cracks me up!
And our kitchen! JC JUST hung the curtains for me. Aren't' they cute?! :) I had an idea of what I wanted- red stripes or checks or something- and could NOT find them ANYWHERE! I went to several stores and had been looking on-line. I finally found some at K-Mart for a fabulous price! Forget you, Pottery Barn! :)
And that's our house! I absolutely love it. I'm so happy with it. Yesterday I was driving by some neighborhoods that we didn't look at last year, and for a split second I thought, "How could we have missed this?" But then I thought "WHO CARES! I LOVE my house and wouldn't trade it for anything!!" I'm pleased to have it decorated and feeling like home so quickly, too. Helps to be home and not have other responsibilities! I think we're going to have a great tour here!
God bless our home!!!
