Here we are! A big empty house! The movers come tomorrow. We are SO happy to be here!
Our first night here we got to see our friend TIM! What a blessing! He made it feel like we were home. He was here for a week for training and so we got to hang out a couple of times. He also helped us unload the boxes we'd brought from home! THANK YOU, TIM!!!
On the day the movers came, Maggie was SOOOOOO scared! I didn't know what to do with her! I tried putting her on the porch but it was too hot and she was scared. So I finally put her in her crate and kept her where she could see and hear me. It worked.
Here I am at the frong door. I had the list of furniture and boxes. They'd yell out a number to me and I would check it off and tell them which room to put it in. THIS is the way to move, I tell ya!!!
They stayed and unpacked all the boxes. They don't put things away, of course, and I wouldn't want them to! But it was a huge help to have them take away all the boxes and packing materials. It also was helpful for finding things! Instead of looking through boxes we just looked in the piles!
Have you ever seen so many books?!? Oh my....
