Happy Halloween!

"Party planner" Amy did a gerat job of organizing our building! She and Phil set up a fog machine and brought a big thing of hot apple cider! I popped some homemade popcorn. We were decked out with lights and jack-o-lanterns! It was fun! Nicholas was able to stay for a little bit. He had a lot of studying to do, poor guy!
Our new neighbors Lee and Michelle and their super cute daughter Olive joined us. We enjoyed getting to talk with them. Olive the duck (chicken?) was very entertaining and she'd warm you up with her feathers when you got cold! She wasn't too fond of her duck head though. She thought her daddy looked better with it! That's right, Lee! I got it on camera!

Even Phil and Amy's dog (well, one of them!) got into it! Look what a cute banana Fred is!

I was most impressed with the kids that trick-or-treat on base. They were so polite! I started off handing each kid one, but then I realized they were only taking one from the other baskets! So I let them choose what they wanted. They all just took one and were so polite and would say thank you. It was so fun!
