New Header

For the last few months, I've been tired of my header.  But the only thing I wanted to change it to was new baby pics.

Well THAT ain't happenin' now!

Sigh...

But why do I have to wait for baby pictures?  How about baby-WAITING-pictures?  So here we are.

Picture #1- my handsome husband J and me at a fondue dinner with friends.  (Hi MB!)

Picture #2- the most amazing gift ever.  My friend Annie is in the process of making our baby a quilt.  She has such faith in our family's future that she began to prepare this several months ago.  Isn't it beautiful?  I love this so much.  THIS picture is what inspired me to change my header.  It gives me such hope.  I can't wait to wrap our little one in this quilt of love.  (Thank you, Annie.  ILY, A.)

Picture #3- my poor cat, Maggie, suffers while I practice cloth diapering.  OK, I only did it once and laughed hysterically the whole time.  Don't you love the look on her face?  "GET THESE PEOPLE A KID  N.O.W."

I'm working on a "heart-post", but for now, I'm happy to have a new header.   It's a small step in moving forward for me.

Lauren, the shot of your cat is priceless. God knows my cat would never sit still for something like that. She can't be controlled. ;)

I like to swaddle my kitty in a blanket and rock him..to which he gives out a big sigh and looks at me like "You know how I feel about this."...did you know there are kitty strollers out there? I need one of those.

My dh and I always tease "Our child has fur."

Love the pics and glad to see your moving along. That is what we have to do..move along..live life.

Lauren, I LOVE the new header. Nothing like a little redecorating therapy to make a gal feel a tad better! I ADORE the quilt! That is always the analogy I use to describe our family...patched together by God and all the more beautiful with color!

I feel so honored that the quilt made your header! I have been driving around with it for over a week in my car in case I pass a fabric store . I'm still on the hunt for just the right fabrics for the backing and binding.

Go, Maggie! I've never tried diapers on Sophie, but she didn't seem to mind wearing American Girl dresses when young. One of Jeremy's friends always called her "the buffer animal," giving me something to mother while waiting.

Before we had our baby, I put my cat in my sling to practice ;) She was none too thrilled!
