Last night we gave Abigail her first bath. I was terrified. J was a pro. :) He did the washing and I took the pictures. Abigail was NOT a fan! Maggie came running to see what was going on. She decided I was hurting Abigail (shock!!!) and started to attack me!!! She body slammed me, stood on her legs and tried to hit me with her paws and then bit my bottom!!! It was so funny and sweet!!!
Please, please, please keep praying. We are not out of the woods yet and we are desperate for your prayers. Ask Blessed Chiara to intercede for our Abigail Chiara. I am so scared and trying to let Jesus guard my heart, protect me from fear, and help me be in this moment right now with the great I AM.
PLEASE pray for us.

Too funny about Maggie! My girls were never fans of the first bath either! Newborns, nakedness, and water just aren't a good mix. :) Praying! Blessed Chiara's story is so beautiful!

Prayers for you all! Also, when I was pregnant, we had a cable man come to our house. Our little cat interpreted him as a danger (I was 9 months huge) and got between the repairman and myself and hissed like I had never heard the cat before! Cats can be just like dogs, I think. :)

Just wanted to say I'm praying for all of you. Pets can be weird with babies. When my nephew was visiting as a small baby our poodle (not a smart dog by any means) would bark and whine at my sister if the baby fussed at all.
