I recently heard Kimberly Hahn describe her response to finding a penny. When she sees a random penny, she says to herself, "My Mother loves me!" She refers both to her Mom and the Blessed Mother! She used this practice to help her form more of a personal relationship with Mary. She teaches her children to do this, too, and sometimes sneaks pennies into their pockets or lunch boxes. She said she's dumped entire rolls of pennies into kids' bags when they go off to school!
Isn't that cool! I love this!
I have been doing it ever since, and I am finding pennies everywhere!
“Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” summarizes the purpose and mission of our marriage and this blog. Through our marriage and family, we hope to magnify the Lord and bring glory to His name. We married in June of 2006 and thereafter began our journey of infertility and adoption. After three unsuccessful adoptions, we brought home our baby girl, Abigail Chiara, in September of 2010, followed by our precious girl, Gianna Luce, in November of 2011! This blog shares my heart, my life, and what I am learning.

So sweet!
OK, what am I missing here? How is a penny related to the Blessed Mother?
Awwww! And you can tell Abigail, "All THREE of your mothers love you!" What a blessed little girl.
Maria-- I don't think there's any real connection to Mary here, but there's been a meaning/reminder attached to something that has no meaning.
Love this! I will definitely do this now! :)
Pennies will now take on a whole new meaning for me!
Neat! I may have to consider this!.....and to think of all the pennies I've probably discarded!
So sweet! Love it!
Your Mommy loves you too!!!
This is great, another penny habit I've seen is to remember that "in God we Trust'
