Tentatively OK...for now...

Our social worker came this morning for the one week post-placement visit.  I begged J call her this morning to ask if she was going to take the baby.  :(  She said, "NO!"

They're filing paperwork with the court, but thinks seem like they're going in our favor.  It's all very speculative, of course, but what we know is in our favor.

Thank you so much for your prayers.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I hope to write about Abigail's name and name-sake tomorrow.

Lauren, I just can't tell you enough how much I am praying for you!! What a terrifying feeling to think about the social worker walking out the door with your sweet little girl. I'm so glad J asked so that your heart could rest for a little while.

Lauren, I have a cousin going through a tough situation with her "hopefully" adoptive child right now. It is scary stuff! Know that we (my cousin & I) are still praying for you!

I'll keep praying. I was up half the night with our 3 yr old last night and said a quick offering for all of you several times.

I cannot BELIEVE you're still dealing with a difficult situation. Your endurance is inspiring, and you know we're all wishing you the best. On the bright side, how awesome is it having a baby girl in the house?
