Update!

Oh my word.  I have been trying to write this post for days. DAYS!!!  This newborn stuff is no piece of cake!  It is absolutely glorious- but gloriously busy and exhausting!   How I wish I could post pictures of her absolute preciousness.  I've even inquired about a private blog, and was told no by the agency.  SAD!

We had her newborn pics taken Wednesday.  If you've followed my blog for long, you'll know that I'm an absolute cheapskate.  Well, pictures were proof that this girl has me wrapped around her finger.  I planned on purchasing the $10 package.  I walked out with the $100.  Oops.  Did you know that the $10 package is just one pose?????  Give me a break...like I'm supposed to choose JUST ONE POSE?  :)

I recycled a frame that previously held a wedding picture and inserted our new family picture.  I have a FAMILY PICTURE!!!  I just stare at it in awe.  Sometimes when I pick her up, I literally fall to my knees in awe and gratitude.  How many times have I said, "Thank you, Jesus." in the last week?

Legal issues seemed to have calmed for now.  Papers have been (or are about to be) submitted to the court for the judge to look over.  It seems as though we're in the clear with issue #1 and issue #2 doesn't seem to be an issue at all yet.  Sorry for the coded talk.  I am such an open book and want to pour out my heart and share all these pictures with you!  This is agony!  But things seem to be moving forward and I'm hoping for finalization in 4-6 months.  They've told us 6-9 months, but I'm still hoping for 4-6.  :)

She is an absolute treasure.  A precious gift from Heaven.

Thank you, Jesus.

Ha ha... the EXACT same thing happened to me LAST week! I went to JC Penney's Portrait Studio (with the coupon and planned on spending just $7.99) and left spending $80!! I couldn't help myself. The pictures were so adorable.

Thank you Jesus for our sweet little miracles!

I can't imagine having to be cryptic and also not post pics-totally against my nature as well and I know you are being rewarded for doing this, so hard! I still probably take ten pics a day of my almost two year old, so I understand about pics. I do them annually, family and C alone, because any more often and I would break the bank! :) So glad you are loving every second and can't wait to see her pic! Glad the issues are calming.

My heart is bursting with happiness for you!
I also spent about that much money on Avery's first pictures! :)
Then, I developed more of a system since we couldn't be spending over a hundred dollars every time since I wanted to take 3, 6, 9, 12, and 18 month pictures! haha
Did you go to Portrait Innovations? I often get the $10 package, and then I choose one more 3 sheet package of a second pose, and then I order a third pose in a 10x13 for the wall. It ends up being much less, but I still get 3 poses. :)
The other secret that I have for this is only bringing one outfit! It greatly reduces my choices, and it makes life easier!

Ok now I don't feel so bad about dropping $100 yesterday at Sears Portrait Studio. It was agony trying to narrow down all those cute pictures, sheer agony!!

SOOO happy to hear all is going well so far, and cannot wait for that day that you can post some pics!! (when do they think that day will be? Finalization?)

I am so happy for you to be enjoying the precious newborn moments with your daughter. It seems like there are so many more that 24 hours in each day, since we spend about 20 of them awake!!

Sounds encouraging! Can't wait to hear more details when you have a few minutes.

Enjoy the newborn days. They are so exhausting, and yet so sweet.
