But you know how it is.
Some of y'all have been so sweet to check on me. Thanks for not forgetting about me! I'll be back!
But we are alive and well and enjoying an early spring- or at least a few weeks of spring-like weather. We've settled into a nice routine. Abigail's imagination is budding and she's fascinated with flowers, nursery rhymes, and naming body parts. She takes good care of her baby doll more and more. My favorite is when she wraps her baby in a blanket and bounces up an down with her. Wonder where she learned that!
Gianna is wonderful! I'm falling more in love with her every day as she reveals her personality and charm. Her smiles are getting bigger and more frequent and she's learned to roll over! She's ten weeks old now (!) and weighed 11 pounds at her two month appointment. That's a jump from the 30th percentile to 78th! We can't imagine our family without her. I can hardly wait to show you pictures of this gorgeous girl!
TPR (Termination of Parental Rights) was signed this week, after a delay. It was supposed to occur two weeks ago, but the court closed due to loss of electricity during thunderstorms. Rats! But it went according to plan with no hiccups. Now we file our petition to make our rights permanent. We're hoping our court date will be early March- and we're really hoping we can have her Baptized around the same time so that family can come to both.
J took Abigail out for their first Daddy-daughter date this morning, which is why I'm able to blog! They went to Mass and to get donuts. :) I'm enjoying this time, and it makes my heart swell to think of them spending time together. I'm so happy I could cry!
Much love,
