We have settled into a nice routine here this summer! The mornings are reserved for chores and errands. After nap time we have a few choices-
1) Go to the splash pad- walking distance from our house and FREE!!!
2) Go to the museum- see yesterday's post! Also free and air-conditioned!
3) Go to the pool- half a mile away, cheap and fun! Usually reserved for Fridays when I don't' have to make dinner since it's pizza night!
OR...there's always the beach- but I'm not able to handle the two girls on my own at the beach yet. Too scary!
After dinner we head to the park across the street. There are a few families that meet out there every evening. It's so wonderful!
I'm getting spoiled with this wonderful routine and all the opportunities available here! We will really miss this next summer! I'm going to enjoy every minute of it now!

Gianna started solid foods! It's safe to say she likes avocados!!! Also egg yolks with liver and chicken with broth! |
 |
SISTERS!!!! |
 |
As of late when we get Abigail out of bed, she wants Gigi in bed with her to hold her. So cute! |
 |
I gave her a snack and put it on the dishwasher door as a table. Next thing I know she's kneeling and praying before she eats! Be still my heart! |
 |
Abigail's in Heaven at the museum! |
 |
"A-NAS!!!" = Astronauts! |
 |
"Look, Mom! The Lunar Rover!" |
 |
WEE!!!!! |
 |
The museum even has a child-size air craft carrier to play on! Indoor playground? SWEET! |
 |
Happiness! |
 |
YUM! |
 |
Lovin' the splash pad!!! |
Big news here...Abigail is mostly potty trained!! It happened by mistake! She had a diaper rash a few weeks ago so I was letting her air out. I'd put her on the potty every once in a while just to see- and she got so excited about it! I was actually dreading starting, but I couldn't hold her back! She loves her big girl panties and we're even able to go out in public in them. I'm so proud of her!
And Gianna is about to take off crawling. She's on all fours and rocking back and forth. I can't help but encourage her. She's so precious and excited! With Abigail- crawling was the hardest stage for me. She was into everything and put EVERYTHING in her mouth. Hoping Gianna will be easier?!?

Love G's big gummy smile! Your routine sounds fabulous!
OH MY GOODNESS....your girls are so BEAUTIFUL!!
Can I also say that seeing a post from you for the 2nd day in a row made my evening. I've missed you.
I love love love your posts! Your family makes me smile! It is so fun to see your girls beautiful faces! They are so precious!
A few weeks ago, Isabella started asking for me to put Isaiah in her crib with her in the mornings when we go get her too! It is so funny because Isaiah climbs all over her and rips her Paci out of her mouth over and over again! It is the only time he sees her with a Paci so I am pretty sure he thinks it is his for the taking! I need to take a video!
Sounds like a great routine! :) We are loving the summer also. Your girls are gorgeous!
Love the pictures! The praying by the dishwasher and the two sisters together are just precious.
Love your girls! The praying pic is the cutest. Glad you all are having a fun summer! :)
What a fabulous routine! Both of your girls ate absolutely adorable!
The picture of Abigail praying? Breathtaking!
I said it before, I fear potty training.
Crawling Was the hardest for me too. Everyone said walking would be harder. Maybe those first few really wabbly weeks with lots of goose eggs. But the crawling and everything in the mouth stage was terrifying.
Your summer sounds beautiful! And great pictures of your beautiful girls. I'm not looking forward to potty training the twins so I hope it is as easy as your experience.
Beautiful, sweet girls!!! Love the dishwasher pic!!!!

You have two BEAUTIFUL daughters ... oh my ... I see those boys come running now. :-) Just gorgeous!
Love G's gummy smile ... and A kneeling at the dishwasher/table? You are right ... melts my heart too. :-)
I can't get enough of those two precious faces! Seriously! Also, I'm so jealous of your summer options. I'm struggling to come up with ideas that are both cheap and wet/air-conditioned. Oh, Texas. Enjoy it!
Hey Lauren! So happy to have met you and am really enjoying following your blog! About the piece of property you found, is there a good church close by?
